Pressboard Classification Folders for Letter

Smead 13734 folders organise letter-size papers into four sections within a single folder. The yellow pressboard construction suits offices, schools or home filing systems that handle bulky project files. Each box contains ten folders ready for immediate use.

SafeSHIELD Coated Fasteners Reduce Handling Issues

Coated fasteners are designed to prevent hand injuries, paper tears and excessive crinkling during daily filing. The 2-inch expanding spine uses tear-resistant material to accommodate thicker document sets without splitting. These features support routine filing tasks in busy environments.

2/5-Cut Tab Position for Label Compatibility

The right-of-centre tab aligns with Viewables Multipurpose Labels 64915 for consistent labelling across the system. Four-section dividers keep categories separated during frequent access and long-term storage. The folder structure maintains order when projects grow beyond a single-section capacity.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the SafeSHIELD Coated Fasteners without crinkling the papers?

Align the papers under the fastener prongs, then press the coated arms down evenly until they click; the coating prevents snagging and reduces the crinkling that occurs when one side is forced before the other.

Will the 2" expanding spine or the tear-resistant material need replacement first?

The tear-resistant spine material is built to handle repeated expansion, so the fasteners are the components most likely to wear out after heavy, long-term use.

At what point does the 2" spine limit how many documents I can add?

The spine expands to a full 2 inches; once the folder reaches that thickness it will no longer close flat, signalling you have hit the storage limit.
