Six-section legal folder system

Smead 19033 pressboard classification folders organise legal documents into six distinct sections using two internal dividers. The green 25 pt stock holds 8 1/2" x 14" sheets with a 2" expansion capacity. Ten folders per box suit offices that need high-volume, structured filing.

Check sheet size and fastener fit

Verify that your documents measure 8 1/2" x 14" so they sit flat inside the legal format. Ensure the two SafeSHIELD fasteners align with your existing punched papers and that the 2" fastener capacity matches the thickness of each section you plan to store.

Pressboard durability and daily handling

The 25 pt pressboard resists edge wear during frequent shelf retrieval. Two fasteners per folder keep sections secure when the box is carried between departments. Recycled content supports environmental policies without reducing the rigidity needed for long-term archive storage.

Questions about this item

Does the box contain only the ten folders or are the SafeSHIELD fasteners and dividers packed separately?

The ten folders include the SafeSHIELD fasteners and two dividers already installed, so nothing extra needs to be purchased.

Should I choose the six-section layout over a four-section version for legal-size documents?

The six-section layout uses two dividers to create six separate compartments, giving more separation for legal-size sheets than a four-section folder would.

Will the 2-inch expansion hold a full 2-inch stack of legal paper without the cover bowing?

The 25 pt. pressboard cover and 2-inch fastener capacity are built to keep a full 2-inch stack of legal sheets flat and secure.
