End Tab File Folders 100 per Box

These Smead 24134 folders are built for high-volume shelf filing in medical, dental, financial and insurance offices. The 11 point stock and double-thick reinforced tabs withstand frequent handling in large records systems. Scored for 3/4 inch expansion, they accommodate growing files without tearing. Fasteners are sold separately for customised organisation.

Heavy 11 Point Stock Durability

The heavyweight manila material resists wear from daily retrieval and re-filing on open shelves. A 9 inch high front panel with a quarter-inch undercut keeps labels visible and readable at a glance. Embossed lines guide straight label placement without additional tools. Slit punching on standard centres allows optional fastener upgrades.

Slit-Punched for Custom Fasteners

Each folder is pre-punched in positions one through four so you can add fasteners only where needed. This keeps the interior clean for documents that do not require binding. Labels are sold separately, letting you choose the format that matches your indexing system. The product uses wood from a certified managed forest.

Questions about this item

How do I install fasteners in the pre-punched positions of these folders?

Align fasteners with the slit-punched holes on 2-3/4" centers at positions 1, 2, 3, and 4. Fasteners are sold separately.

What maintenance will these 11 point stock folders require over time?

The reinforced end tabs and 11 point stock resist wear. Replace individual folders if tabs tear or expansion scores crack from heavy use.

What is the first capacity limit I will hit when loading these folders on a shelf?

Each folder is scored for 3/4" expansion. Overfilling beyond this limit prevents proper closure and risks tearing the manila stock.
