Pressboard classification folder

The Smead 26800 is a letter-size classification folder made from pressboard with 60 percent recycled content. Each folder provides four sections created by a single divider and two fasteners. The box contains ten folders for office filing systems.

High-volume paper filing

Suits offices that organise active project files with multiple categories inside one cover. Not suited for users who need only a simple two-pocket folder or who require more than two fasteners per folder.

2-inch expansion capacity

The 2-inch expansion allows the folder to hold a substantial stack of documents before reaching its limit. Buyers needing tighter or greater expansion should consider a different specification.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy fasteners or dividers separately?

Each box contains ten letter-size pressboard classification folders with end tabs, two embedded 2S fasteners per folder, and one built-in divider creating four sections — no extra fasteners or dividers are required.

How do I decide between the available capacities or versions of this folder?

The 26800 is offered only as a 10-folder box with 2-inch expansion and 60-percent recycled gray-green pressboard; there are no alternate capacities or versions to choose from.

What does the 2-inch expansion mean when the folder is on a shelf?

The 2-inch expansion lets each folder hold a thick stack of letter-size documents while the end tab keeps the label visible in a drawer or on a shelf.
