End-tab project folders

These classification folders create multiple filing surfaces inside a single letter-size folder. Two 2-inch prong fasteners on the front and back panels hold primary documents. A centre divider with 1-inch fasteners on both sides adds a second subdivision. The interlocking end tab is embossed for label placement.

Offices that subdivide active files

Suits teams that keep project phases, correspondence and reference material together in one folder. The 2-inch expansion handles growing paper volumes. Not intended for binders that require ring mechanisms or for filing systems that use top-tab indexing.

Four fasteners per folder

Two fasteners on the covers and two on the divider provide four distinct filing points. This count determines how many separate document sets can be secured without additional hardware.

Questions about this item

Do I need to buy separate end-tab labels for the 1/2-inch embossed tab on these folders?

Yes, the reinforced end tab is embossed for label placement and labels are sold separately, so you will need to supply your own.

Will the 18-point manila stock and 2-inch expansion match the thickness of older letter-size folders already in my cabinet?

The folders use 18-point stock for both covers and dividers and expand to 2 inches, so they align with other letter-size folders built to the same weight and expansion.

How can I confirm the four fasteners are all engaged after I load the folder?

Check that the two 2-inch prong B-style fasteners on the inside front and back covers and the two 1-inch prong fasteners on each side of the divider are fully clamped down.
