Letter-size manila file backs

These file backs are designed to hold documents securely inside standard file pockets. Each unit features 11-pt manila stock and built-in prong fasteners that keep papers grouped in sequence. The 2" capacity allows substantial filing without bulging the pocket gussets. Sold in boxes of 100 for high-volume office use.

Suited for sequential filing

Ideal for offices that organise records chronologically or by project and need fast access to grouped sheets. The prong fasteners make it simple to add or remove pages without dismantling the whole file. Not suited for users who need individual tabbed folders for drawer filing or who require colour-coded dividers for visual sorting.

11-pt manila stock weight

The 11-point cover material determines durability and how much the folder resists tearing under frequent handling. Heavier stock withstands repeated insertion and removal better than lighter alternatives. Buyers should match this weight to their expected filing frequency and document volume.

Questions about this item

What type of file pocket is needed for these Smead 35511 folders to fit without bulging?

They fit standard file pockets, so any letter-size pocket with side gussets will accept them cleanly.

Will the 2-3/4" slit punching on these manila backs align with my existing ring binders?

Yes, the standard slit spacing matches common ring binders and fastener bases already in use.

How can I confirm the 11-pt manila stock is holding up after loading each folder?

Check that the cover resists bending and the prong fasteners keep papers flat when the drawer is opened and closed.
