12-pocket expanding file folder

The Smead 70862 is a poly expanding file with twelve internal pockets for letter-size documents. It is built for professionals and students who need a single, portable organiser for active projects. The purple polypropylene cover resists moisture and daily handling while keeping contents visible.

Check your current filing system

Verify that your existing cabinet or shelf accommodates letter-size expanding files before ordering. Ensure you have enough clearance for the folder to open fully without binding against adjacent folders. The polypropylene material differs from standard manila, so confirm it matches your colour-coding scheme.

What the poly construction changes

The polypropylene surface repels spills and resists tearing better than paper-based folders, so documents stay protected during transport. Twelve pockets let you separate categories without buying multiple folders, reducing bulk in a briefcase or backpack. The single-unit quantity means you receive exactly one organiser per order.
