Legal-size expanding file pockets

These Smead 74088 pockets hold legal documents measuring 8 1/2" x 14" and expand up to 3-1/2" for bulky records. Rollover Tyvek reinforcement at the top of the 6-1/2" sides makes the edges virtually tear-proof. The Redrope material contains 30% recycled content. They come 25 per box.

Offices with high-volume legal filing vs minimal

Suits legal practices, government offices or any workplace that accumulates thick case files and needs durable, expandable pockets. The right-position 2/5 cut tabs keep labels visible in standard drawer systems. Not suited for users who only store a few letter-size sheets or who need letter-width pockets.

3-1/2 inch expansion capacity

The accordion-style gusset opens to a full 3-1/2 inches, determining how many folded documents each pocket can hold. Buyers should match this depth to the thickest file they plan to store. If a larger expansion is required, this model will not meet that need.
