Letter-size expansion jacket

The Smead 75540 is a letter-size file jacket with 1 1/2 inch expansion for holding bulky documents. Reinforced double-ply tabs resist tearing during frequent handling. Closed sides keep papers secure while moving files between locations. Each box contains 50 jackets made from 11 point Manila stock.

Best for high-volume paper transport

Suits offices that move thick project files out of the office and need closed sides to prevent page loss. The straight-cut tab and thumb cut allow quick indexing and retrieval. Not suited for buyers who need multiple divided sections inside a single folder. Also not suited for environments that require pre-punched edges for binder storage.

1 1/2 inch expansion capacity

The expansion depth determines how many sheets the jacket can hold before the sides stress. At 1 1/2 inches it accommodates substantially more paper than standard flat folders. Check your typical file thickness against this measure to confirm fit.
