SuperTab Classification Folders 10/Box

These Smead SuperTab classification folders arrive in a box of 10 and suit offices that need fast retrieval of letter-size documents. Each folder provides six fasteners and two Kraft dividers to create six distinct filing surfaces for organised project or case work.

25 Point Pressboard Construction

The folders use heavyweight 25 point pressboard with high recycled content for durability and eco-friendly appeal. A Tyvek gusset expands to accommodate 2 inches of material while the patented SafeSHIELD coated fasteners prevent paper tears, finger cuts and fastener crinkling during frequent handling.

Expanded Labeling Area

SuperTab technology nearly doubles the labeling area compared with standard classification folders, allowing larger handwriting or more descriptive lines. The 2/5-cut tabs sit in the right-of-center position for clear visibility in drawer or shelf filing systems.

Questions about this item

How do I install the dividers and fasteners in the SMD14070 folder, and what step is often missed?

The two Kraft dividers and six fasteners come pre-installed; the step people miss is pressing each SafeSHIELD coated fastener flat until it clicks to prevent paper tears and finger cuts.

What maintenance or replacement will the SMD14070 folders need over time?

The 25 point pressboard and Tyvek gusset are built for long use; only the folder itself needs replacement if the gusset tears or the fasteners bend after repeated 2-inch expansions.

What limit appears first when the SMD14070 folder is used heavily every day?

The 2-inch Tyvek gusset expansion limit is reached first; once filled to capacity the folder will not close flat and additional sheets must go into a new folder.
