  • 40Gbps USB4 data transfer plus 8K 60Hz video output for external displays
  • All-aluminium shell with gold-plated contacts resists oxidation and dissipates heat
  • Works with Thunderbolt 3/4 docks, Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Switch, MacBook, iPhone 15/16 Pro Max

Ergonomic U-Shape for Handhelds

The 180-degree USB-C male-to-female adapter bends the cable flat against the device shell, removing cord extrusion and protecting the port on Steam Deck, ROG Ally and Nintendo Switch. Supplied as a two-pack, it lets you charge and play simultaneously without the connector digging into your hands or snagging on surfaces during handheld sessions.

Full-Spec Power and Data Delivery

An integrated E-Marker chip enables 240W Power Delivery 3.1 Extended Power Range at 48V/5A, with backward compatibility to 140W, 100W and 60W profiles for high-power laptops and gaming handhelds. The USB4-compliant link runs at 40Gbps for external SSD transfers and carries 8K at 60Hz DisplayPort Alt Mode video to monitors or docking stations, all without driver installation.

Plug-and-Play Across Thunderbolt Ecosystems

Gold-plated contacts inside an all-aluminium housing resist oxidation and dissipate heat during sustained high-wattage charging or heavy data loads. The compact form factor fits directly into any full-function USB-C port on Thunderbolt 3 or 4 docks, MacBook models, iPhone 15 and 16 Pro Max, Android tablets and the supported handheld consoles, freeing up desk space and eliminating cable strain.

Questions about this item

How do I orient the 180° U-shape adapter when plugging it into my Steam Deck so the cable lies flat against the shell?

Align the adapter so the bend curves toward the back of the device; the gold-plated contacts face the port and the aluminium shell sits flush, letting the cable run parallel to the housing without protruding.

Will the E-Marker chip or gold-plated pins need replacement after repeated plug cycles on a ROG Ally?

The all-aluminium shell and gold-plated contacts are built for frequent insertion; no user-serviceable parts are inside, so the adapter itself does not require scheduled maintenance.

At what power level does the adapter hit its thermal limit during a long 240W charging session on a MacBook?

The metal casing dissipates heat during sustained 48V 5A 240W pass-through; if the shell becomes uncomfortably hot, reduce the load or unplug briefly to let it cool.
