  • Male-to-female RJ45 extends existing runs without re-cabling
  • Works with PCs, routers, switches, smart TVs and all standard RJ45 devices

Two-pack short extension for fixed installs

This set includes two 1-foot Cat6 shielded cables with RJ45 male-to-female ends and screw-panel mounts. They are designed for close-range port extension on cabinets, equipment panels or cases where a permanent, tidy connection is needed. The shielded twisted-pair construction supports Cat6 bandwidth and remains backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 infrastructure. Suitable for PCs, laptops, routers, smart TVs and network switches.

Verify port gender and panel cutout

Confirm the existing cable or device you are extending presents a female RJ45 jack so the male plug on this extension can seat correctly. Measure the panel thickness and hole spacing to match the built-in mounting holes and supplied screws. Ensure the installation surface is rigid enough to hold the connector firmly without flexing during cable insertion or removal.

Screw-mounted shielded connectors

The metal mounting flange and captive screws lock each female port to the panel, preventing the cable weight or accidental tugs from stressing the internal contacts. Shielded RJ45 housings maintain signal integrity in electrically noisy environments such as server racks or industrial cabinets. The short 1-foot length keeps slack minimal, reducing clutter and potential damage in tight wiring channels.
