8K Fiber DisplayPort Cable 1.4
This 33-foot fiber-optic cable carries DisplayPort 1.4 signals between a graphics card or laptop and a monitor, projector or headset. It targets gamers and VR users who need long runs without signal loss. The VESA-certified construction supports HBR3 bandwidth and DSC 1.2 compression.
32.4 Gbps bandwidth for 8K 60 Hz and 4K 144 Hz
The link delivers 32.4 Gbps, enough for 7680×4320 at 60 Hz, 3840×2160 at 144 Hz or 2550×1440 at 240 Hz. Dynamic HDR and HDCP 2.2 are included. Beyond these resolutions and refresh rates the available bandwidth runs out, so higher modes such as 8K 120 Hz are not possible.
DisplayPort 1.4 interface limits
The cable is backward compatible with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1, but it cannot exceed the 1.4 specification ceiling of 32.4 Gbps. Builders who need DisplayPort 2.0 or UHBR speeds, or who require runs longer than 33 feet, must choose a different product class.

Questions about this item
Will this 33 ft DisplayPort 1.4 fiber cable work with my older monitor that only has DisplayPort 1.2?
Yes, the cable is backwards compatible with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 so it will carry a signal to a 1.2 monitor at the monitor's native resolution and refresh rate.
How can I confirm the cable is delivering 8K at 60 Hz after I plug it in?
Open your GPU control panel or monitor OSD and verify the active timing shows 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz with HDR enabled; the VESA-certified DP 1.4 link supports 32.4 Gbps bandwidth for that mode.
Does the 33 ft package include only the cable or are adapters also supplied?
The box contains the DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort fiber cable with 24 K gold-plated connectors; no adapters, converters or power injectors are included.
