  • 4 Gbps bandwidth handles high-speed data
  • 50-foot length enables long-distance in-wall runs

50-foot fibre DisplayPort cable

This 50-foot fibre-optic DisplayPort 1.4 cable links a graphics card or console to an 8K display without signal boosters. The fibre construction resists electromagnetic interference and maintains full bandwidth over the entire length. It is aimed at installers and enthusiasts who need a single long run through walls or across large rooms.

Sustained 32.4 Gbps over distance

Fibre transmission keeps the 32.4 Gbps data rate stable during extended gaming or professional sessions, avoiding the signal drop-off common with copper at this length. Gold-plated connectors and a wear-resistant TPE jacket protect the link from repeated mating cycles and physical stress. No external power or repeaters are required for continuous operation.

8K at 60 Hz decides fit

The cable is certified for 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz, so buyers needing higher refresh rates at 8K or resolutions beyond 8K must choose a different solution. It also supports HDR10, HDCP 2.2 and multi-channel audio for compatible sources such as RTX 3080 or 3090 cards and current consoles.

Questions about this item

Does the 50-foot fiber cable need external power or generate heat during all-day 8K@60Hz use?

The fiber-optic construction transmits the 32.4 Gbps signal without a booster, so it draws no extra power and produces no noticeable heat even during continuous 8K@60Hz sessions.

My GPU only has a standard DisplayPort 1.4 output — will the gold-plated connectors on this cable mate securely?

Yes, the 24K gold-plated DisplayPort plugs are fully compatible with any standard DP 1.4 source port, including those on RTX 3080 and 3090 cards.

Will this cable work with my older DP 1.2 monitor that tops out at 4K@60Hz?

The cable is backward compatible with DisplayPort 1.2, so it will carry 4K@60Hz and lower resolutions such as 1080P without issue.
