SMUGDESK 8K Fiber Optic DisplayPort 1.4 Cable 100 Ft

SKU CH-S7B2-EZV3D

An active optical DisplayPort 1.4 cable carrying 32.4 Gbps for 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz over 100 ft

Cable Length 100 Feet

  • 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz for ultra-sharp high-refresh gaming
  • VESA-certified DisplayPort 1.4 fibre link guarantees 32.4 Gbps HBR3 bandwidth
  • Active optical design eliminates motion blur, screen tearing and flicker
  • 24 K gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and secure a stable signal
  • 100 ft slim cable reaches distant monitors, projectors or VR headsets

100 Ft Active Optical Cable

This one-hundred-foot DisplayPort 1.4 cable uses fiber-optic conductors to deliver 32.4 Gbps bandwidth over long runs. It targets PC builders and VR enthusiasts who need 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz without signal loss across large rooms or sim rigs.

VESA Certified Fiber Construction

Official VESA certification confirms compliance with the DisplayPort 1.4 specification including HBR3 and DSC 1.2. Gold-plated connectors protect the integrated optical engine, while the slim flexible jacket resists kinking during routing behind desks or through conduit.

Backward Compatible Plug-and-Play

The cable works with existing DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 ports, so current monitors and graphics cards connect without adapters or driver installs. It carries Dynamic HDR and HDCP 2.2 for protected 4K streaming, but buyers needing lengths under fifteen feet may prefer a cheaper copper alternative.

Questions about this item

What bandwidth does the DisplayPort 1.4 fiber cable deliver and what resolutions can it actually drive?

The cable is rated for 32.4 Gbps HBR3 bandwidth and supports 8K 7680x4320 at 60 Hz, 4K 3840x2160 at 144 Hz, 2K 2550x1440 at 240 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz with Dynamic HDR and HDCP 2.2.

What physical space do the connectors need and how flexible is the 100 ft run?

Slim fiber construction and standard DP plugs fit tight ports behind graphics cards or monitors; the cable bends easily for routing through walls or conduit without kinking.

How do I install the active optical cable and which end goes where?

Connect the source-marked plug to the GPU or laptop and the display-marked plug to the monitor or VR headset; the fiber link is directional and will not pass video if reversed.
