  • Right-angle connector fits tight ports and reduces cable strain at the device
  • Short 1.6 ft length keeps desk setups tidy and signal quality high

Right-angle USB4 cable for tight spaces

This 1.6ft USB4 cable uses a 90-degree connector to fit behind monitors, docks or laptops where straight plugs would press against walls or furniture. It supports Thunderbolt 3 and 4 hosts as well as phones, notebooks, Macs and external SSDs that accept a USB-C link. The short length keeps cable clutter low on crowded desks.

Simple plug-in with one orientation catch

No drivers or software are required; the cable works as soon as both ends seat fully in USB-C ports. The right-angle hood only bends one way, so the port must face the correct side or the plug will not sit flush. Dust or debris in the recessed port can also prevent a solid connection, so check both sockets before assuming the cable is faulty.

Bandwidth and power ceilings set by the port

The cable carries up to 40Gbps on USB4 Gen3 or Thunderbolt 3 and 4 links, but drops to 20Gbps on Gen2 ports. Video output reaches 8K at 60Hz or dual 4K at 60Hz only when the host controller and display both support that throughput. Power delivery tops out at 240W (48V/5A) and requires a PD 3.1 charger; older PD or QC 4.0 sources will negotiate lower wattage.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the cable is delivering the full 240W charge after connecting it?

When paired with a compatible charger the cable supports up to 240W (48V/5A) power delivery; the connected device will show its maximum charging rate if the charger and port also support that level.

What comes in the package and do I need any extra adapters for Thunderbolt 3 or 4 ports?

The box contains one 1.6ft USB4 cable with 90-degree connectors; no additional adapters are required for Thunderbolt 3 or 4 compatibility.

Which length should I choose if I need the 40Gbps data rate for an eGPU or dual 4K@60Hz setup?

The 1.6ft version maintains the full 40Gbps bandwidth needed for eGPU use and dual 4K@60Hz video output.
