SKU CH-35HZ-PJ3QM

Right-angle braided USB-C cable delivers 40 Gbps data and 240 W power with 8K 60 Hz video support

Cable Length 5 Feet

  • 240W charging for power-hungry laptops
  • 40Gbps data transfer with USB4 Gen 3x2
  • 8K 60Hz video output to external displays
  • Right-angle connectors reduce port strain
  • 6ft braided cable resists tangles and wear

Cable standard and power delivery

This USB4 Gen 3x2 cable delivers up to 40Gbps bi-directional bandwidth and supports the USB Power Delivery 3.1 Extended Power Range up to 240W at 48V. It is built for users who need maximum charging speed and high-throughput data transfer between modern USB-C hosts and peripherals. The right-angle connectors reduce strain in tight ports while the nylon braid adds durability for daily carry.

Sustained load behaviour

The cable maintains full 240W throughput under continuous load when paired with a compliant PD 3.1 EPR charger and a device capable of drawing that power, such as a MacBook Pro 16'' at 140W. It remains backwards compatible with 180W, 140W, 100W and 60W profiles, so power negotiation stays stable across mixed hardware without dropping to lower rates during extended sessions.

Thermals noise and power draw

Passive construction means zero fan noise and no active cooling requirement; heat stays within the limits of the USB-C specification during normal operation. The braided jacket dissipates warmth from the conductors while the right-angle moulding keeps the cable close to the device, reducing leverage on the port. Power draw is determined entirely by the attached charger and device, with the cable adding negligible resistance.

Questions about this item

Does the right-angle USB-C connector stay cool while delivering 240 W all day?

The cable is rated for 240 W at 48 V under PD 3.1 Extended Power Range and uses a nylon-braided jacket that helps dissipate heat during sustained high-power charging sessions.

What charger and device must I already own to reach the 240 W rating?

You need a PD 3.1 EPR charger capable of 240 W and a device that accepts 240 W input; the cable is backwards compatible with 180 W, 140 W, 100 W and lower profiles.

Will this 40 Gbps USB4 cable work with my older 10 Gbps USB 3.1 gear?

Yes, the USB4 Gen 3x2 cable is fully backwards compatible and will operate at the maximum speed supported by the connected legacy ports.
