Converts analog BNC CVBS signals to digital HDMI 1080P output for CCTV cameras, DVRs and VCR players on modern displays
This compact converter changes analog CVBS video from a BNC source into a digital HDMI signal at up to 1080P resolution. It is built for installers and technicians who need to view legacy CCTV cameras, DVRs or VCR players on modern monitors, TVs or projectors. The device bridges older surveillance gear and current display equipment without requiring driver installation. It does not accept SDI input signals.
The unit runs on plug-and-play power and maintains a stable 1080P output during extended monitoring sessions. Image sharpness, colour saturation and frame stability remain consistent when the converter is left on for long periods in a security control room. Because it only processes standard CVBS sources, the output quality is limited to the resolution and clarity of the original analog feed. No active cooling or driver updates are involved in sustained use.
Connect the BNC cable to the female input, link the HDMI output to the display, then apply power to start. The mini housing fits beside a DVR or on a monitoring desk without taking much space. The only common issue is attempting to feed an SDI signal, which the converter cannot recognise and will not display. Verify that the source is standard CVBS before installing.

The compact mini box uses passive cooling with no fan, so it operates silently and remains at a safe temperature during all-day surveillance use.
You need a BNC cable from your camera or DVR, an HDMI cable to the display, and a 5 V USB power supply — the converter draws power through its micro-USB port.
Yes, the BNC female input accepts standard CVBS signals from legacy VCRs, DVRs and analog CCTV cameras, converting them to 1080P HDMI for modern screens.
