HDMI to 3G-SDI Converter with Dual Outputs

The WRIARICH HDMI2SDI accepts one HDMI Type A input and distributes it to two SDI outputs at up to 1080P 60 Hz. It embeds audio with the video stream and operates at 2.97 Gbit/s without requiring an external power supply. The unit includes built-in ESD protection and LED status indication.

Suitable for broadcast

Installers feeding SDI monitors or recorders from an HDMI source will benefit from the automatic HD-SDI and 3G-SDI detection. The converter does not support SDI-to-HDMI operation, so workflows requiring reverse conversion must look elsewhere. It also lacks 4K or HDR pass-through for higher-resolution pipelines.

Check HDMI source resolution

The device accepts 480i through 1080P at 24, 25, 30, 50 or 60 Hz and common PC timings up to 1680×1050 60 Hz; signals outside this list will not display. SDI output reaches 100 metres at 3G-SDI and 200 metres at HD-SDI, so verify your cable lengths and connector types match the dual BNC ports.

Questions about this item

Does the WRIARICH HDMI2SDI need its own power adapter or can it run from the HDMI source?

The converter requires the included power adapter; it does not draw power from the HDMI source.

Will the converter pass a 1080p@60Hz signal from my camera to two older HD-SDI monitors that only accept 720p@60Hz?

Each SDI output auto-detects the standard; both ports can simultaneously deliver 720p@60Hz HD-SDI even when the HDMI input is 1080p@60Hz.

How can I confirm the unit is converting correctly once I connect it?

The front-panel LED lights when a valid HDMI signal is detected and both SDI outputs are active.
