8K 60 Hz DisplayPort 1.4 cable
This DisplayPort 1.4 cable delivers 32.4 Gbps bandwidth for 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz. It suits gamers and creators who need HDR10, FreeSync and G-Sync over a single 6.6 ft male-to-male link. Backward compatibility covers DisplayPort 1.1, 1.2 and 1.2a devices.
Thermals noise and power
Passive copper construction produces no heat or noise and draws no external power. The 28 AWG conductors are triple tin shielded inside a double braided nylon jacket with gold-plated connectors. This shielding protects signal integrity at the full 32.4 Gbps rate without active electronics.
Upgrade path and value
The cable replaces older DisplayPort leads limited to 4K 60 Hz or lower refresh rates at 1440p. The jump is worthwhile when moving to an 8K monitor, a 4K 144 Hz panel or a 1440p 240 Hz display. It adds no benefit for 1080p 60 Hz setups that do not require HDR or variable refresh.

Questions about this item
How do I install this DisplayPort cable and what is the common mistake to avoid?
Plug the male DisplayPort connectors firmly into the GPU and monitor ports until the latches click. The step people get wrong is forcing the connector without pressing the release button to remove it later.
What maintenance or replacement will this cable need over time?
The gold plated corrosion resistant connectors and double braided nylon jacket are designed for long term use. No routine maintenance is required, but replace the cable if the braiding frays or the latches break.
What limit appears first when running 8K at 60 Hz continuously?
The 32.4 Gbps bandwidth ceiling of the HBR3 link is the first limit. At 8K 60 Hz with 48 Bit Deep Color HDR and DSC 1.2a compression the cable operates at its maximum rated throughput.
