50 m optical DisplayPort cable for 8K workstations

This 50 metre optical fibre cable carries DisplayPort 1.4 HBR3 signals at 32.4 Gbps, supporting 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz. It is built for installers and professionals who need long-distance video runs without signal loss.

Directional connectors and 4-core fibre

The cable uses four optical fibres to transmit TMDS signals, avoiding high-frequency interference over distances up to 100 metres. Gold-plated connectors are marked [Source] and [Display]; the link only works when each end is plugged into the correct device type.

Verify source and display capabilities first

Your graphics card and monitor must both support the target resolution and refresh rate you intend to use. The cable is directional, so plan the routing so the [Source] end reaches the computer and the [Display] end reaches the screen.

Questions about this item

Will the 24K gold-plated connectors need periodic cleaning or replacement after long-term in-wall installation?

The 24K gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and are rated for the cable's full service life; no scheduled cleaning or replacement is required once the 50 m run is installed.

At the 50 m length, does the 32.4 Gbps bandwidth remain stable for 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz without signal degradation?

The 4-core optical fiber maintains the full 32.4 Gbps across the entire 50 m distance, supporting 8K 7680×4320 at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz with no signal loss.

Does the optical fiber cable generate noticeable heat or draw extra power during continuous all-day 8K 60 Hz operation?

The fiber-optic design produces negligible heat and requires no external power; the directional connectors simply pass the DisplayPort 1.4 signal with no active components to warm up.
