SMUGDESK Dual PSU Power Sync Adapter 24Pin to SATA
An adapter board that uses a 24-pin ATX signal to start and stop a second PSU in sync, providing Molex, SATA and 6-pin trigger outputs for multi-GPU rigs
- Synchronises two PSUs for multi-GPU rigs using 24-pin ATX trigger
- Offers Molex, SATA and 6-pin outputs for flexible secondary PSU connections
- Hardware-only trigger needs no drivers or software configuration
- Stable circuit board prevents startup failures under sustained heavy loads
- Solves port shortage when multiple high-power graphics cards are installed
Dual PSU Synchronisation
The SMUGDESK adapter board lets two separate power supplies start and stop together by using the motherboard ATX 24Pin signal to trigger the secondary unit. It is built for multi-GPU mining rigs and high-power gaming PCs that need more connectors than a single PSU can provide.
Trigger Signal Limits
The board only passes the power-on signal; it does not increase total wattage or regulate voltage between the two units. Overloading either supply will still cause shutdowns or damage, so the installer must verify that combined component draw stays within each PSU rated capacity.
SATA Trigger Interface
One of the three available trigger outputs uses a SATA connector to link the secondary power supply. Builders whose PSU requires a different trigger style must use the Molex 4pin or 6pin options instead.

Questions about this item
Which connector type on the adapter board should I use to trigger my secondary power supply?
Choose the Molex 4pin, SATA or 6pin output that matches the trigger input on your second PSU; the board provides all three so you can connect whichever your unit requires.
What does the ATX 24Pin trigger actually do when the system powers on?
It passes the motherboard's power-on signal to the secondary PSU so both units start and shut down together without any software or drivers.
Does the SATA interface on this board limit the power my second PSU can deliver?
No, the SATA connection only carries the trigger signal; it does not supply or restrict the PSU's actual power output.
