This SMUGDESK cable connects a USB-A host to USB-C devices with a right-angle plug that reduces strain in tight spaces. It transfers data at up to 10 Gbps and delivers 3 A fast charging at 60 W. The double nylon-braided jacket is rated for more than 20 000 bends and 10 000 insertions.

For Android Auto users

Suits drivers using Android Auto and owners of Galaxy S22, S21, S20, Note10, iPad Pro 2020, MacBook, Pixel, LG, Oculus Quest, Samsung T7 or Dell XPS 13. Not for buyers who require video output or data transfer between two laptops.

USB 3.1 Gen 2 10 Gbps interface

The single specification that decides fit is the USB 3.1 Gen 2 interface running at 10 Gbps. If your host port is limited to USB 3.0 or 2.0 the cable will still work but will not reach its rated transfer speed.

Questions about this item

What charger do I need for the 60W fast charging to work?

You need an OEM or QC 3.0 charger that can deliver up to 3A, and your device must support fast charging.

Will this cable work with my older USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports?

Yes, it is backward compatible with USB 3.0 and 2.0, so it will function at the lower speeds of those ports.

How can I confirm the cable is running at its rated 10Gbps speed?

Transfer a large file between compatible devices and verify the throughput approaches 1250MB/s, the maximum rate for USB 3.1 Gen 2.
