Questions about this item

How can I confirm the cable is delivering the full 5 Gbps SuperSpeed link after I plug it in?

Connect a USB 3.0 device such as an external hard disk and check the operating system reports a SuperSpeed connection; transfer a large file and verify the throughput approaches the 5 Gbps rating.

What connectors come on the cable and do I need any extra adapters for a standard USB 3.0 Type-A port?

The cable has a USB 3.0 Type-A male plug on each end, so it plugs directly into any USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 Type-A port without additional adapters.
