What this cable does and who needs it

This USB 4.0 cable connects two USB-C devices and handles 40 Gbps data transfer, 240 W Power Delivery charging and 8K video output in a single 3.3 ft length. It suits users who want one lead for docking, fast charging and high-resolution displays without carrying multiple cables.

Check your ports before ordering

Your host and display must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C for video to work. The cable is backward compatible with USB 3.2, 3.1 and 2.0 speeds, but full 40 Gbps throughput and 240 W charging require both ends to implement the USB 4.0 or Thunderbolt 4/3 specification.

Sustained-load behaviour

The cable carries PD 3.1 Extended Power Range profiles at 48 V/240 W, 36 V/180 W and 28 V/140 W, so it maintains peak charging during long sessions rather than throttling after a short burst. Its construction is designed for repeated bending and continuous high-bandwidth data or dual 4K 60 Hz video without signal degradation.
