Extension Cable for USB-C Devices

This two-pack of USB-C extension cables adds 3.3 feet of reach between a host and any USB-C peripheral. Each cable carries a male connector on one end and a female port on the other, so existing cables or devices plug straight in without adapters. The pair is suited to desks, docking stations or portable monitors where the stock lead falls short.

Sustained Data and Power Delivery

The cables are rated for USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds of 10 Gbps and support Power Delivery up to 100 W at 20 V and 5 A. In continuous use they maintain the full 10 Gbps throughput for large file transfers or drive arrays without dropping to a lower signalling rate. The 100 W power path remains stable during prolonged charging sessions, avoiding the throttling seen on lighter-gauge leads.

Thermals, Noise and Power Draw

Passive construction means no fans, no coil whine and zero acoustic output under any load. The nylon-braided jacket and reinforced fibre core dissipate the modest heat generated by 100 W transmission without becoming warm to the touch. Power consumption is limited to the negligible resistance of the conductors, so the host supply sees virtually no extra draw beyond the attached device.

Questions about this item

Does the 3.3FT cable get warm or draw noticeable power when I leave it plugged in all day at 100W?

The cable is rated for 20V/5A up to 100W and uses a braided nylon jacket with a fiber core tested to 20000 bends; it has no active electronics so heat and standby draw are negligible.

My laptop only has USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C ports — will the 10Gbps cable still work for data and 4K@60Hz video?

Yes, the male-to-female cord is backward compatible with USB 3.1 and 3.0 Type-C hosts; data will run at the host's maximum speed while still delivering up to 100W power and 1080p@60Hz video.

I want to keep my older 1080p@60Hz monitor — can this 4K@60Hz extender drive it without adapters?

The cable supports 4K at 60Hz and lower resolutions including 1920x1200 and 1080p at 60Hz, so your existing monitor will work directly through the female Type-C connector.
