USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable 3 m
This VESA-certified cable connects a USB-C host with DP Alt Mode to any DisplayPort monitor. It delivers 32.4 Gbps bandwidth using HBR3 signalling and DSC 1.2 compression for visually lossless 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz output. The unidirectional design runs from Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3 or USB4 sources to DisplayPort displays.
Best for Thunderbolt 4 and 3 hosts needing 8K 60 Hz
Suited for MacBook Pro 2017 and 2018, Dell XPS 13 and 15, and other laptops that expose DP Alt Mode over USB-C or Thunderbolt. Not usable for DisplayPort sources driving USB-C monitors, nor for hosts lacking DP Alt Mode support.
32.4 Gbps HBR3 bandwidth with DSC 1.2
This single spec determines whether 8K 60 Hz, 5K 60 Hz, 4K 144 Hz or 2K 240 Hz are achievable on your display. Both the source GPU and the monitor must support the target resolution and refresh rate at this bandwidth.

Questions about this item
Does my laptop need a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode to use this cable?
Yes, the source device must support USB Type-C DP Alt Mode for video output to work.
Can I run a 2560 x 1440 monitor at 165 Hz with this cable?
The cable supports 2560 x 1440 at 165 Hz, so an older 1440p high-refresh monitor will run at that rate.
How can I verify the cable is delivering 32.4 Gbps after connecting it?
Check your OS display settings; if 3840 x 2160 at 144 Hz or 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz are selectable, the full HBR3 link is active.
