Extension cable for USB-C devices

This 3.3 ft USB Type-C male-to-female extension cable supports USB 3.1 Gen 2 data rates up to 10 Gbps. It delivers up to 100 W of power at 20 V and 5 A and carries 4K video at 3840 by 2160 resolution at 60 Hz. The pack contains two cables for flexible placement.

Suits users extending a single USB-C port

Ideal for laptop or tablet owners who need extra reach for docking stations, monitors or chargers without losing speed or power. Buyers whose devices lack USB-C video output or 100 W charging support will not gain those functions from the cable alone. It also does not add ports, only extends an existing connection.

Simple plug-in installation

Connect the male end to the host device and the female end to the peripheral cable; no drivers are required. Video output works only when both the host and the display support USB-C video and a Gen 2 cable is used throughout. Charging reaches 100 W only with a compatible 100 W charger and device.

Questions about this item

What host port is needed for the 3.3 ft USB-C male plug to connect?

A USB-C port on the host device is required for the male connector to fit and carry data, power and video signals.

Will the cable pass 10 Gbps speeds through a USB 3.1 Gen 1 port on an older laptop?

It will operate at the host port’s 5 Gbps limit; the cable itself supports up to 10 Gbps when both ends are Gen 2.

How can I confirm the extension is delivering 4K 60 Hz video after setup?

Check the display settings on the host — 3840 × 2160 at 60 Hz should be selectable and stable when the cable, source and monitor all support video.
