Questions about this item

Will the cable deliver 240W to an older USB-C laptop that only accepts 60W?

The cable supports up to 240W (48V/5A) and will negotiate the maximum power the laptop allows, so a 60W device charges at its own limit.

How can I verify the 40Gbps link is active after plugging it in?

Check the OS connection speed or run a file transfer; Gen3 ports show up to 40Gbps while Gen2 ports cap at 20Gbps.

Does the 4ft cable include a power adapter or video adapters for dual 4K monitors?

Only the USB-C to USB-C cable is in the box; a compatible charger and two cables are needed for dual 4K@60Hz.
