4FT USB4 Cable with 240W charging

This 4FT USB4 cable connects USB-C devices while delivering up to 240W of power at 48V/5A. It suits users who need a single cable for high-wattage laptop charging and fast data movement. The cable works with MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iPad Pro and other USB-C hosts.

Thunderbolt 4 compatible cable for docks

The cable carries 40Gbps bandwidth and supports 8K at 60Hz or dual 4K output when two cables are used. It fits into setups that rely on Thunderbolt 4 or Thunderbolt 3 docks, monitors and storage. Backward compatibility covers USB 3.2, 3.1 and 3.0 hosts.

240W power delivery and 40Gbps speed in one lead

With a capable charger the cable provides the maximum power the device accepts, removing the need for a separate bulky adapter. The 40Gbps link moves large files at up to 2.8GB/s read and 2.1GB/s write. Buyers who need longer reach or angled connectors will need a different cable.

Questions about this item

Does the cable maintain 40 Gbps throughput during extended large-file transfers?

The cable is rated for up to 40 Gbps and real-world tests show 2.8 GB/s read and 2.1 GB/s write, so sustained performance stays at that level provided both host and storage support the speed.

How much heat does the cable generate when delivering 240 W continuously?

At 48 V and 5 A the cable handles 240 W without active cooling; it warms slightly under full load but remains within normal operating temperature for passive USB-C cables.

What charger and laptop combination is needed to reach 240 W charging?

You need a USB-C power adapter rated for 240 W (48 V/5 A) and a laptop that accepts 240 W over USB-C; the cable itself supports the full 240 W specification.
