Entry-level SIP colour desk phone
The Snom D717 is a professional desk phone built for daily business use. It provides wideband HD audio for clear conversations and a 2.8 inch full-colour LCD screen at 320x240 resolution. The handset supports four SIP accounts and includes three self-labelling function keys for flexible call handling.
Upgrade from basic analogue or single-line handsets
Moving to this model adds a Gigabit Ethernet switch, Power over Ethernet IEEE 802.3af Class 2 and DSP-enhanced audio quality. The jump is worth it when a workplace needs paperless programmable keys, a colour display for caller data and the ability to expand with up to three D7 expansion modules.
Fits a networked office with PoE infrastructure
The phone draws power from the network cable and passes a second Gigabit port to a PC, reducing desk cabling. A USB port accepts compatible headsets, while optional DECT and Wi-Fi dongles add wireless peripherals without extra power sockets. The sensor hook switch and compact footprint suit hot-desk and reception deployments alike.
