Snomd Non-Contact Infrared Forehead Thermometer JXB178

Three-in-one thermometer for home use

The Snomd JXB178 measures forehead, surface and room temperature without contact. It is intended for families who need a single device for adults, children and infants. The gun-style unit stores up to 32 readings so recent history can be reviewed quickly. A three-colour backlit display shifts from green to orange to red for immediate fever indication.

Ready to use in seconds

Two AAA batteries are supplied in the box so the thermometer works straight away. Point the sensor at the forehead from .4 to 2 inches away and press the trigger for a one-second reading. The only common issue is aiming too far away or at an angle, which can lower accuracy. A mute button silences the beep for sleeping children and the unit powers off automatically after 30 seconds.

Check power and use case before ordering

Verify that AAA cells are acceptable for your environment; rechargeable versions are not included. The device is designed for quick screening rather than continuous clinical monitoring. If you require data logging beyond the 32-memory limit or a probe for oral or rectal measurement, this model will not meet those needs.
