A 60W soldering kit with LCD temperature control from 180°C to 500°C, five tips, a digital multimeter, desoldering pump and lead-free solder wire in a portable case
This 60 W soldering kit combines a ceramic-heating iron, a VC830L digital multimeter, desoldering pump and accessories in one portable case. It targets hobbyists and technicians who need a complete, ready-to-use station for circuit-board repair, jewellery work and general DIY electronics projects.
The iron reaches working temperature in seconds and maintains a stable 180 °C to 500 °C range via an adjustable thermostat with an ON/OFF switch. Heat-resistant screw threads and five interchangeable tips keep the tip secure during prolonged use while minimising heat loss to the handle.
The kit is rated at 120 watts overall, so the bench outlet or extension lead must supply at least that much continuous power. Buyers whose workspace is limited to lower-amperage circuits should verify capacity before purchasing.

Insert the chosen tip into the heat-resistant screw threads and tighten firmly; the step many skip is allowing the iron to reach the set temperature between 180°C and 500°C before applying solder.
The five interchangeable tips wear with use and should be replaced when they no longer wet cleanly; the 30 g lead-free solder wire will also need replenishing once consumed.
The 120-watt power draw and the 500°C / 932°F ceiling are the first constraints; prolonged operation at the maximum setting can trip the overload protection on the VC830L multimeter.
