Wireless 2D Barcode Scanner

The Solio DS8178-SR is a handheld 2D wireless barcode scanner designed for workers who need to capture multiple codes quickly. It reads dense, damaged, poorly printed or electronic barcodes on dim displays. Bluetooth connectivity pairs with a supplied cradle and USB cable for flexible deployment in retail, warehouse or office environments.

Multi-Code Capture and Page Scanning

A single trigger press captures several barcodes and transmits only the required data in the correct format to the host application. The imager can read an entire 8.5 x 11 inch or A4 page at once, converting the information for electronic storage without extra steps. The included cradle and cable simplify charging and wired fallback.

Bluetooth Range and Form Factor Limits

The wireless link operates up to 24 in (61 cm) from the host, so operators must stay within close proximity of the cradle. The handheld design suits single-handed use but does not offer hands-free or presentation-style scanning. No additional mounting hardware or extended-range antennas are supplied.
