Multi-Gigabit PoE+ Injector 802.3AT

The SonicWall 02SSC0004 is a power-over-Ethernet injector built for SonicWave 200 Series wireless access points. It delivers both data and power over a single cable run, removing the need for a local power outlet at the access-point location. Network administrators deploying ceiling- or wall-mounted units in offices, schools or retail spaces will find it simplifies installation and reduces cabling cost.

Single-port inline deployment

The injector sits inline between a network switch and the access point, accepting one gigabit PoE+ input and passing one gigabit PoE+ output to the device. It requires a PoE+ capable upstream port or a separate mid-span source to function. The unit frees the access point from AC wiring constraints, allowing placement wherever an Ethernet cable reaches.

Passive thermal design

With no moving parts, the injector operates silently and draws only the power needed by the connected access point plus its own minimal overhead. Heat is dissipated through the metal enclosure under normal indoor ambient conditions. No fan noise or active cooling maintenance is required, making it suitable for noise-sensitive environments such as open-plan offices or classrooms.
