The SonicWall NSa 3800 is a next-generation firewall appliance built for medium and large enterprises. It runs on SonicOS 8 to deliver enterprise-grade threat prevention and secure networking. Secure Upgrade Plus two-year security suite

The bundled Secure Upgrade Plus licence activates a two-year Advanced Protection Security Suite. This subscription unlocks comprehensive security services including intrusion prevention, malware analysis and URL filtering. It also enables DNS Security, Geo-IP blocking and Bot-net protection services. The suite supports simplified centralised management and Zero Trust enablement for the organisation.

Throughput and connection capacity

The appliance delivers firewall throughput of up to 8 Gbps and threat prevention throughput of up to 6 Gbps. It supports up to 2,000,000 concurrent connections for high-density environments. These limits suit demanding enterprise workloads with heavy encrypted traffic inspection. Networks exceeding these throughput or connection thresholds will require a higher-capacity model.
