Landscape and detail shooters wanting portable

Photographers who need maximum pixel count in a small form factor for travel or street work will benefit from the 61MP sensor and pixel-shift capability. Videographers requiring internal 10-bit 4K60p with S-Log3 also fit this kit. Buyers who need faster continuous burst rates for sports or wildlife action should look at something else.

61MP Exmor R sensor with 240.8MP pixel shift

The defining specification is the 61MP full-frame Exmor R BSI sensor paired with the BIONZ XR processor, which enables 240.8MP Pixel Shift Multi Shooting for extreme detail. This resolution level dictates storage needs and post-processing demands, making it the primary factor in deciding if this camera matches the intended workflow.
