9 V 0.1 A AC power adapter

This genuine Sony AC-S901 adapter converts 120 V 60 Hz mains power into a regulated 9 V 0.1 A direct-current output rated at 4 W. It uses a two-contact US-style plug and is intended as a direct replacement for the original supply that shipped with compatible Sony equipment. The unit is supplied new in bulk packaging without a retail box.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

It suits owners of Sony devices that specify a 9 V 0.1 A centre-positive input and accept a US two-pin mains plug. Buyers whose equipment requires a different voltage, a higher current rating, a different connector polarity or a non-US mains plug should look at other adapters.

Deciding specification

The fixed 9 V 0.1 A output rating is the single figure that determines compatibility; the device you are powering must list exactly that voltage and current on its label or in its manual.
