Compact mirrorless kit for creators

The Sony Alpha a6400 kit pairs a 24.2MP APS-C sensor with BIONZ X processing and real-time Eye AF. A 180° tilting touchscreen and internal UHD 4K recording suit vloggers and photographers who need fast autofocus in a small body. The bundle adds a 32GB card, flash, 75 tripod and 6.5 tabletop grip for immediate shooting.

Autofocus speed and video limits

Real-time Eye AF acquires focus in 0.02 seconds and tracks subjects at up to 11 fps with AF/AE. Silent shooting reaches 8 fps. UHD 4K uses full pixel readout without binning, while the 3.0 inch 921.6k-dot screen tilts 180° up and 74° down for self-recording and low angles.

Bundle accessories for daily use

The 75 tripod and 6.5 tabletop pistol grip give stable options from floor to desk. A micro HDMI cable, high-speed card reader, blower, cleaning cloth, pen and starter kit keep the sensor and glass clear. The medium gadget bag holds the camera, flash and small extras together.

Questions about this item

The kit includes a 32GB 95MB/s card — is that enough for 4K video and bursts, or should I add another card?

The 32GB Extreme PRO card handles 4K recording and 11 fps bursts at 95 MB/s; for long sessions or heavy 4K work, carry a spare UHS-I card.

The spec lists 0.02 s autofocus — does that speed hold with the bundled flash attached?

The 0.02 s acquisition is a camera-body figure; the external slave flash does not change AF speed, though recycle time will affect how quickly you can shoot successive flash frames.

The HDMI cable is a Micro HDMI (Type D) — can I plug it straight into a standard monitor or capture device?

The included 6 ft cable has a Micro HDMI (Type D) connector on the camera end and a full-size HDMI (Type A) on the other, so it connects directly to most monitors, recorders or capture cards.
