Kit contents and intended use

This kit combines the Sony Alpha a9 II mirrorless camera with the FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lens and a bundle of accessories including a 128GB SanDisk card, gadget bag, 82mm filter set, blower, card reader and cleaning supplies. It is aimed at professionals who need high-speed stills and 4K video in a single package.

Installation notes

Mount the lens by aligning the white index marks and turning until it clicks; the camera’s electronic shutter allows silent 20 fps bursts while the mechanical shutter tops out at 10 fps. The stacked sensor and BIONZ X processor deliver 60 AF/AE calculations per second, so eye-tracking stays reliable even with fast-moving subjects.

Pre-purchase checks

Verify you have a workflow that can handle 24.2MP raw files and UHD 4K30p footage, plus storage capacity beyond the included 128GB card. The 82mm filter thread on the lens matches the supplied UV, CPL and FLD filters, so no step-up rings are required for that kit.
