A probe lens for Nikon Z macro work

The Laowa 24mm f/14 probe lens mounts on Nikon Z cameras and focuses from 2:1 macro to infinity. Its wide-angle 'Bug Eye' perspective lets you get extremely close to small subjects while still showing their surroundings. The design covers both full-frame and Super35 sensors for stills and video alike.

Waterproof barrel and integrated LED ring

The front barrel is waterproof, so you can shoot into water or damp environments without a housing. An LED ring light at the tip provides even illumination powered by an external battery via the included USB cables. The package supplies a variable-output dimmer cable, a fixed cable, a lens bag and a rugged aluminium carry case.

Deep depth of field at close range

The wide-angle optical formula yields much greater depth of field at high magnification than conventional telephoto macro lenses, keeping more background detail sharp. With 27 elements in 19 groups the lens maintains clarity across the frame during sustained close-up sessions. It is not suited for buyers who need fast apertures or long working distances.
