Outdoor mini dome camera

The Sony SNC-VM642R is a 2 megapixel network camera built for exterior surveillance. Its varifocal lens covers a 3-9mm focal range, and the IP66-rated housing protects against dust and heavy rain. Power and data travel over a single wired connection.

Suits fixed outdoor positions.

Installers who need a compact, weatherproof dome with adjustable field of view will find this model fits walls or ceilings. Buyers who require wireless deployment, built-in pan-tilt movement, or higher than 2 megapixel resolution should consider other form factors.

Varifocal 3-9mm lens sets the viewing angle

The adjustable focal length lets you narrow or widen the scene during installation, fixing the exact coverage required. Once set, the lens remains at that position unless manually changed again.
