Portable speaker bundle with carabiner

The Sony ULT FIELD 1 is a Bluetooth wireless portable speaker supplied in a bundle with a BELOW ZERO 12kN heavy-duty carabiner. It is intended for listeners who want a compact audio device they can attach to everyday-carry gear. The speaker features echo-cancelling technology for clearer voice pickup. The bundle suits users who value a ready-to-clip outdoor audio solution.

Battery-powered operation with no fan noise

The speaker runs on its internal battery so it produces no fan noise and draws no mains power during use. There are no moving cooling parts to generate sound. The aluminium carabiner adds no electrical load. This combination keeps the package silent when music is paused and completely independent of wall sockets.

Bluetooth wireless connectivity decides

The only wireless link is standard Bluetooth; there is no Wi-Fi, auxiliary input or proprietary protocol mentioned. A source device must support Bluetooth audio streaming to work with this speaker. Buyers who need a wired connection or multi-room Wi-Fi audio cannot use this product.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the carabiner to the speaker without it slipping off?

Clip the 12 kN carabiner through the speaker's built-in loop and close the locking gate so the orange clip stays secure on a pack strap.

What part of the bundle will need replacement first with heavy outdoor use?

The 7075 aluminium carabiner may show gate wear or surface scratches before the speaker enclosure does.

What limits how long the speaker plays continuously at high volume?

The internal battery runs for about 10 hours before it needs recharging.
