A managed rackmount switch with eight 2.5G RJ45 ports, four 10G SFP+ uplinks and a 240 W PoE budget for up to eight powered devices
Version 1 Year Support
The Sophos CS210-8FP is a rack-mountable Layer 2 managed switch offering eight RJ45 ports at 10/100/1000 Mbps plus four SFP/SFP+ uplink ports supporting 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps speeds. It includes a 240 W PoE budget compliant with 802.3af/at to power connected devices directly through the copper ports. Management is handled via Sophos Central for unified configuration.
This switch suits small-to-medium businesses, retail sites and branch offices that require PoE for access points, cameras or phones and want 10 Gbps uplink capacity for aggregation. It is not intended for deployments that need Layer 3 routing, stacking or a higher PoE budget than 240 W. Buyers needing more than eight powered ports or 60 W per port on all ports simultaneously should look at larger models.
The total PoE power budget is 240 W, supporting up to eight devices at 15.4 W, eight at 30 W or four at 60 W. This single figure determines how many PoE endpoints can be powered at once and at what power class, making it the key specification for sizing the switch against the connected device load.

Other versions of this model
The unit is 310 mm deep and 44 mm high (1U); it mounts in a standard 440 mm wide rack using the included brackets.
Connect the external DC adapter to the 100-240 VAC supply, then flip the front On/Off switch; the switch will not boot until that switch is pressed.
Clean the fan intakes every 6–12 months in dusty sites; replace a fan only if it becomes noisy or the management console reports a fan fault.
