Compact soundbar for desktop setups

The SOULION R100 is a 2.0 channel speaker that measures 16 inches wide and fits neatly under a monitor. It draws power from a USB port on a laptop, desktop or Type-C adapter, so no wall outlet is required. White fabric wrap and hidden LED lighting give it a clean look for home or office use.

10 W total output and 150 Hz low-end

Two dynamic drivers share 10 watts RMS, providing enough volume for video calls, streaming and casual gaming at arm's length. The 4 ohm impedance and 65 dB signal-to-noise ratio keep background hiss low at typical listening levels. Bass response stops at 150 hertz, so deep movie effects and sub-bass music will sound thin.

Replaces monitor speakers or basic stereo pairs

Users moving up from built-in display audio gain clearer dialogue and a wider soundstage without adding a separate subwoofer. The jump is worth it when desk space is tight and USB power is the only convenient source. Buyers who want room-filling bass, surround decoding or a headphone jack should look at larger systems.

Questions about this item

Will the 16 in soundbar fit beside a 24 in monitor without blocking the screen?

The soundbar measures 16.0 in wide by 2.5 in high, so it sits low enough to clear the bottom bezel of most 24 in monitors while leaving ample desk space on either side.

How can I confirm the 10 W system is delivering sound and the LED modes are cycling correctly after I plug it in?

Audio plays immediately on USB connection, the touch power button lights up, and a short press of the light button cycles through the four LED effects to show they are active.

Does the package include the USB-C to USB adapter so I can use it with a Type-C only laptop, or must I buy one separately?

The box contains the speaker unit, a USB-C to USB adapter and the user manual, so no extra cable is needed for Type-C only devices.
