Two-Port 4K KVM Switch

This new SOURCEPRO KVM switch lets one keyboard, mouse and printer control two computers through a single 4K monitor. A desktop controller provides quick one-button switching between systems. The unit suits offices, medical imaging, broadcast, post-production and command rooms where fast multi-system access matters. Condition is new.

HDMI 2.0 and USB 2.0 limits

Video runs over HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 and 1.4 support up to 4K at 60 Hz, also covering 4K at 30 Hz, 2560 by 1440 at 120 Hz and 1920 by 1080 at 240 Hz. USB peripherals connect at USB 2.0 speeds only. The switch does not support hotkey switching, so changes must use the button or desktop controller. 3D and HDR pass-through are included.

Replaces dual peripheral sets

This switch replaces a second keyboard, mouse and printer for users who work across two computers. The jump is worth it when desk space is limited and workflow demands instant switching without unplugging cables. It is not for buyers who need more than two computer ports, USB 3.0 peripheral speeds or hotkey-only control.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 4K 60 Hz version or the 4K 30 Hz alternative?

This unit handles 4K at 60 Hz natively; the 30 Hz option is a fallback for older displays, not a separate model.

Will 4K 60 Hz actually reach my monitor through this switch?

Yes — HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 pass the 4K 60 Hz signal to the display without downscaling.

What does the USB 2.0 port limit in daily use?

Keyboard, mouse and printer work at full USB 2.0 speed; high-speed storage would need a faster hub.
