Southco T-Handle Latch Black Flexible Rubber w/Keeper 50 Series 112mm

Southco T-Handle Latch 50 Series

The Southco T-Handle Latch 50 Series is a marine-grade fastening component built with a black flexible rubber handle and matching keeper. Its non-corrosive, non-conductive thermoplastic elastomer construction resists UV exposure and absorbs vibration for quiet, secure closure. The curved T-handle design provides a sure grip while a built-in drag feature keeps the handle stationary when unlatched. When latched, the small-size 50 Series measures 112mm (4.81").

Suits panels with alignment variation

This latch suits installations where panel alignment shifts in service, such as automotive, truck, construction, off-road, farm, marine, industrial and food-equipment applications. The flexible handle adapts to irregularities while the indented keeper ensures positive engagement. Buyers needing a rigid metal handle or a different mounting footprint should look at other latch styles.

UL94-HB flammability rating

The latch handle material carries a UL94-HB flammability rating, confirming it meets a recognised burn-resistance standard for thermoplastic components. This single specification helps specifiers verify compliance with project or regulatory fire-safety requirements.
