SOYE USB 3.2 Gen 2 Expansion Card 7 Ports 4A 3C 20Gbps Fanblack

SKU CH-A8TK-CESQK

Adds seven USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports (four Type-A, three Type-C) to a desktop with 20 Gbps total bandwidth

  • Seven USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports expand desktop connectivity for drives and peripherals
  • 20 Gbps total bandwidth across two independent 10 Gbps channels for fast transfers
  • Each port reaches 10 Gbps when used alone for high-speed single-device performance
  • Works with Windows 7 through 11 and Mac OS 10.8.2 or newer without extra drivers
  • Data-only design avoids PD charging and video protocols for focused throughput

7-Port USB 3.2 Gen 2 PCIe Card

This PCIe expansion card adds seven USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports to a desktop computer. It provides four USB Type-A and three USB Type-C connectors for peripherals such as drives, cameras and input devices. The card fits a standard PCI Express slot and is designed for data transfer only.

Suits builds needing many high-speed ports.

The card suits users who need to connect multiple USB 3.2 Gen 2 devices simultaneously. It is not for users who require USB Power Delivery for fast charging, nor for those who need video output such as DisplayPort or HDMI over USB-C. Thunderbolt protocol is also unsupported.

Bandwidth split across two 10 Gbps controllers

The seven ports are divided into two groups, each sharing a 10 Gbps bandwidth pool for a combined 20 Gbps total. A single port can reach 10 Gbps when used alone, but simultaneous transfers on ports within the same group share that pool.

Questions about this item

How often will the PCIe slot or fan need cleaning on this card?

The card has no fan and no moving parts, so no internal cleaning is required; just keep the PCIe slot free of dust during normal PC maintenance.

Which bandwidth pool saturates first when all seven ports transfer large files simultaneously?

Four ports share one 10 Gbps pool and three ports share the other, so the four-port group reaches its 10 Gbps limit first under heavy concurrent loads.

How much extra heat or power does the card add when running all ports at full speed all day?

The card draws power from the PCIe slot only and has no active cooling, so heat output stays low and stays within standard slot limits even at sustained 20 Gbps total throughput.
