Surveillance speaker for outdoor paging

The Speco Technologies SPC12RP is a weatherproof PA horn designed for voice and tone signalling in exposed locations. Its ABS enclosure carries an IP-rated seal and a white finish that resists UV yellowing. A stainless mounting bracket is included for wall or pole attachment.

Installers needing a compact 15 W RMS horn

This unit suits projects that require a single high-sensitivity driver for paging, alerts or background music in car parks, loading bays or building perimeters. Buyers who want more output, wider dispersion or multi-tap transformer options should look at larger models.

15 W RMS power rating

The speaker delivers 15 W continuous and handles 30 W peaks with 110 dB sensitivity at 1 W/1 m. Frequency response spans 200 to 15,000 Hz at 8 ohm impedance, determining amplifier matching and coverage distance.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 15 W RMS speaker is producing sound correctly after mounting?

Apply a test tone within the 200 to 15,000 Hz range and verify audible output at the rated 110 dB sensitivity from the horn.

What hardware is included with the white ABS horn and what must I source separately?

The package includes a mounting bracket; you must supply speaker wire, an amplifier capable of 8 ohm loads, and any conduit or junction box required by your installation.

Which Speco PA horn model should I choose for an 8 ohm, 15 W RMS outdoor paging zone?

The SPC12RP matches that impedance and power rating exactly, with a weatherproof white ABS enclosure and included bracket for direct mounting.
