Compatible Paper Tape for Brother QL Series

This ten-pack supplies white dye-based paper tape cut to 101 mm wide by 30.4 m long per roll. It fits Brother P-Touch QL-1050, QL-1050N and QL-1060N label printers and replaces the DK-2243 cartridge. Buyers who need continuous film or heat-shrink tubing cannot use this product.

Storage Life and Print Reliability

Each roll stays usable for up to 18 months when kept in a cool, dry place, preserving adhesive tack and dye density for crisp output. The paper formulation resists smudging during normal desktop labelling tasks. It is not designed for outdoor exposure or extreme temperature cycles.

Ready-to-Use Multi-Pack Convenience

The box delivers ten identical rolls so high-volume users can reload without interrupting workflow. No drivers, firmware updates or calibration sheets are included because the printers recognise the media automatically. Users who want pre-cut labels or coloured stock must source those separately.

Questions about this item

How do I load the 4 in x 100 ft roll into my QL-1050 so the tape feeds straight?

Open the cover, drop the roll with the paper unrolling from the bottom, pull the leading edge past the cutter, then close the cover firmly until it clicks — the printer will auto-feed and align the first label.

When should I replace a roll that has been stored in the box?

Use each roll within 18 months of purchase; after that the dye-based coating can fade or stick unevenly, so swap it for a fresh one from the 10-pack.

How many continuous labels can I print on the QL-1060N before the roll runs out?

Each roll holds 100 ft (30.4 m) of white paper tape; the exact label count depends on your chosen label length, so the roll itself is the first limit you hit.
